Charlie Perfect and his company, CP Fencing and Landscaping, specialises in the repair of agricultural, commercial and garden fencing. We are often called out after periods of extremely bad weather, and especially so after strong winds, to establish whether fencing can be repaired or not. At the end of our visit, we will let you know the extent of the damage, what can be done about it and how much it will cost to perform a repair.
We are based in Emsworth, and, as a fencing contractor, undertake fencing repairs in all Hampshire and Surrey areas including Aldershot, Farnham and Guildford.
Based on the extent of the damage and the condition of the panels, posts and fixings, we will perform emergency fencing repairs if it is possible to do so. We will make the area safe if a repair isn’t the best solution, and we will then arrange a date and time to come out and undertake the replacement work.
If garden fencing panels have suffered damage but the original posts are in a good condition, we will try to perform a repair or replace any individual panels whenever we can’t. It is usually more difficult to perform fencing repairs on panels that have dried out or split due to a lack of maintenance.
Fencing in a poor condition will also break down further once we hammer nails into it so often a replacement is the most economical choice.
When your garden fencing panels look in good condition, but stronger winds have left them a little wobbly, it is likely that there is damage to the posts. It is always better to replace posts because we find that repairs rarely last. Swap from timber to concrete if you can, or request saver sleeves for timber posts.
In most cases, we will be able to use your fencing panels again, but we will inspect them for damage carefully before putting them back into position. This is an important service element for any local fencing contractor.
Agricultural fencing repairs in Aldershot, like commercial fencing repairs in the Farnham area and garden fencing repairs in Guildford, need to be a choice that is economical for the customer or client. If more than half of a fence is beyond economical repair, it is usually better to have everything replaced.
A new pressure-treated timber fence should last for upwards of 15 years.
We promise to be honest, transparent and upfront in our dealings with you, and we will always try to undertake garden fencing repairs if it is the most economical choice, and we know that the repair will last. If we recommend a replacement, it is because we see it as the best long-term choice for you and your property.
Having covered the Aldershot area for many years and, having worked in all surrounding locations in Hampshire and Surrey including Farnham and Guildford, we are well known as local and regional fencing contractors.
People trust our judgement and we hope that in time, we can build a similar level of trust with you so that you can become another regular customer. We want to be your preferred fencing contractor for all repair services.
